I am the designer behind JOOS prints and patterns. When i started in 2015 i was based in Nijmegen, where i set up shop after my studies in fashion design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and a specialising studies in pattern design at Vogue Academy in Amsterdam.
Nature serves as my main source of inspiration, which, together with my background in graphic design, has led to signature prints of flowing yet abstract forms. All patterns are first painted and/or drawn by hand and subsequently digitally processed into their unique design.
