acoustic ceiling panels

JOOS designed and produced acoustic ceiling panels for the town hall in the county of Peel and Maas. There are three panels with a diameter of three meters that provide acoustic improvement. The base is made of wood, the top layer is made of 3 mm felt. This design is based on the idea of a stone being thrown in the water. It starts with one small circle and it spreads itself into multiple bigger circles. It’s the same with a (good) idea, it starts with one person and it gets bigger and better as more people work together. A unique way of processing.
