JOOS designed and produced acoustic upholstered walls for the town hall in the county of Peel and Maas. There are sixteen walls that provide acoustic improvement. The prints are printed on cotton and are stretched on a felt surface to absorb sound.

This project is in harmony with the assignment of the acoustic ceiling panels. This design is based on the idea of a stone being thrown in the water. It starts with one small circle and it spreads itself into multiple bigger circles. It’s the same with a (good) idea, it starts with one person and it gets bigger and better as more people work together. A unique way of processing.
